Loving Others

"Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us." 1 John 3:18-20a
i find it very interesting that John chooses to say that we should love with actions, and not just words. Often i find myself criticizing others way too much with my words, and treating them kindly when i'm in person. Nothing like being 2-faced! Well, i suppose that i'm condemn either way, and so i must again return to Christ for a spiritual cleansing of my mind and tongue, as well as my actions.
